How Old Is Reese From Malcolm In The Middle

Ever find yourself wondering how old Reese from Malcolm in the Middle is now? You're not alone! This hilariously chaotic character carved a permanent spot in our hearts, and it's fun to revisit where he stands today.

Meet Reese Wilkerson

Reese is the perpetually mischievous second brother in the Wilkerson family. He's the one who never met a prank he didn't love or a milkshake he couldn't max out.

But here's a fun twist — Reese is a fictional character, so he doesn't technically age the way we do. The real magic, though, lies in the actor who brought him to life: Justin Berfield.

Justin Berfield's Birthday

Justin Berfield was born on February 25, 1986, which means he's currently 39 years old as of 2025. That's right — if you grew up watching Justin goof around on screen, your favorite troublemaker's portrayer is now pushing forty.

Doesn't time just fly when it's packed with sitcom laughter? One minute you're a kid snapping on the TV for Friday night comedies, and the next you're an adult wondering how you got here.

How Old Was Reese on the Show?

During the show's original run from 2000 to 2006, Reese was depicted as a teenager, roughly in his mid-to-late high school years. Justin, who was in his early twenties, had that perfect youthful energy to play a younger sibling convincingly.

Isn't it wild how actors pull off age tricks on us all the time? We never even questioned it because the writing and performances just worked so seamlessly.

What Is Justin Berfield Up To Now?

After rising to fame on Malcolm in the Middle, Justin co-founded Ashton Kutcher's production company, called Wilkasan. He also made a memorable cameo appearance as Justin in a later episode of Malcolm for the series finale.

Beyond Hollywood, Justin stepped behind the camera as a producer and filmmaker. That's a pretty impressive career pivot, wouldn't you say?
