The Big Answer — Drumroll, Please

Megan Fox was born on May 16, 1986, which means she was just 21 years old when the first Transformers hit theaters in July 2007. During filming itself, which kicked off in 2006, she was even younger — around 20. Imagine carrying a blockbuster franchise at that age!

From Small Town to Hollywood Icon

Before rolling out those robotic battles, Megan Fox had actually appeared in a handful of TV shows and smaller films. She starred in Hope & Faith and had roles in movies like Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. The girl was building her resume — and clearly, it worked.

At just 20, landing the role of Mikaela Bales opposite the legendary Shia LaBeouf was no small feat. Director Michael Bay saw something special in her, and audiences agreed. Who else could make you care about a car changers plot as much as she did?

Why Her Timeline Is Actually Inspiring

Think about it for a second. At 20 years old, you're probably figuring out what career path feels right. Megan Fox was already shooting her breakout role in one of the biggest action franchises of all time at that very moment. Pretty wild, right?
